If Poe begins to really interest you, do yourself a favor and drum a copy of some of his literary criticism, available in a variety of editions from many publishers .

Once owned, it is indispensable

I'll confess that I am only about 200 pages into this very lengthy book , but I can say without hesitation that those pages alone have been worth the price.
